त्याग के बिना योग नहीं।

श्लोक / Verse

यं संन्यासमिति प्राहुर्योगं तं विद्धि पाण्डव ।
न ह्यसंन्यस्तसङ्कल्पो योगी भवति कश्चन ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

जो लोग संन्यास को योग मानते हैं, वे जानते नहीं कि बिना अपने संकल्प को त्यागे कोई भी योगी नहीं बन सकता।

मतलब

हे पाण्डव! जिसे लोग संन्यास कहते हैं, वही वास्तव में सच्चा योग है। जो व्यक्ति अपनी इच्छाओं का त्याग नहीं करता, वह कभी सच्चा योगी नहीं बन सकता।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

सच्चे योग के लिए इच्छाओं का त्याग जरूरी है।

Explanation

Renunciation (sannyasa) means forsaking desires and attachments; without this, one cannot truly attain yoga or liberation.
