फल की इच्छा बंधन है।
Desire for results is bondage.
श्लोक / Verse
इति मां योऽभिजानाति कर्मभिर्न स बध्यते ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जो जानता है कि मुझे कर्म बांधते नहीं और मुझे कर्मफल की इच्छा नहीं है, वह भी कर्मों से बंधता नहीं।
मतलब
जो यह समझता है कि भगवान कर्म करते हुए भी उनसे लिप्त नहीं होते, और उन्हें फल की इच्छा भी नहीं होती — वह व्यक्ति भी कर्मों से नहीं बंधता।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
निष्काम भाव से कर्म करने से बंधन नहीं होता।

Whoever knows that I am not bound by deeds nor have any desire for their fruits is also not bound by actions.
Explanation
Those who understand that Krishna acts without attachment or personal desire become free from the bondage of karma.
This teaches us that
Acting without desire for results frees one from bondage.
