श्लोक / Verse

सङ्कल्पप्रभवान्कामांस्त्यक्त्वा सर्वानशेषतः ।
मनसैवेन्द्रियग्रामं विनियम्य समन्ततः ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

इच्छाओं से उत्पन्न सभी कामों को त्यागकर, मन और इंद्रियों को हर दिशा में नियंत्रित करके योगी शांति प्राप्त करता है।

मतलब

संकल्पों से उत्पन्न कामनाओं को पूर्ण रूप से त्याग कर, मन से इन्द्रियों पर नियंत्रण रखना चाहिए।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

इच्छा और इन्द्रिय संयम से ही आत्म-नियंत्रण संभव है।
