Bhagavad Gita Detachment and Yoga Banner

Key Thought

The supreme bliss of the soul is beyond senses.

Verse

Deeper Understanding

Meaning

The bliss that is beyond senses but can be grasped by the intellect is experienced by one who is steady in the self and truth.

Explanation

The highest happiness transcends the senses but is perceptible to the intellect; such a person never wavers from it.

This teaches us that

True happiness is inner, stable, eternal, and beyond sensory experience.
