श्लोक / Verse

समं कायशिरोग्रीवं धारयन्नचलं स्थिरः ।
सम्प्रेक्ष्य नासिकाग्रं स्वं दिशश्चानवलोकयन् ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

योगी जो अपने शरीर, सिर और गर्दन को स्थिर रखते हुए, नाक के अग्रभाग और दिशाओं को न देखता हुआ, स्थिर रहता है।

मतलब

शरीर, सिर और गर्दन को सीधा रखकर, स्थिर होकर और नासिका के अग्रभाग को देखकर ध्यान लगाना चाहिए।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

ध्यान के लिए शरीर की स्थिरता और एकाग्रता जरूरी है।
