ज्ञानी करता सब है, मानता कुछ नहीं।
The wise know they do everything but feel as if they do nothing.
श्लोक / Verse
पश्यञ्शृण्वन्स्पृशञ्जिघ्रन्नश्नन्गच्छन्स्वपञ्श्वसन् ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
तत्वज्ञान युक्त पुरुष सोचता है कि मैं कुछ नहीं कर रहा, यद्यपि वह देखता, सुनता, छूता, सूंघता, खाता, चलता और सोता है।
मतलब
ज्ञानी व्यक्ति कर्म करते हुए भी मानता है कि वह कुछ नहीं कर रहा, क्योंकि वह आत्मा से जुड़ा होता है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
आत्मज्ञान से व्यक्ति अहंकार रहित होता है।

Deeper Understanding
Meaning
A wise person, endowed with knowledge, perceives that though he sees, hears, touches, smells, eats, walks, sleeps, he actually does nothing himself.
Explanation
The enlightened realize that while they perform activities, their true self remains unattached—understanding that "I do nothing."
This teaches us that
True knowledge removes ego; one understands they are the witness, not the doer.
