संयम में ही सुख है।


Self-control brings happiness.

श्लोक / Verse

शक्नोतीहैव यः सोढुं प्राक्छरीरविमोक्षणात् ।
कामक्रोधोद्भवं वेगं स युक्तः स सुखी नरः ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

जो व्यक्ति शरीर से मुक्त होने के बाद भी काम और क्रोध से उत्पन्न होने वाली इच्छाओं को सहन कर सकता है, वह सुखी और शांति से परिपूर्ण होता है।

मतलब

जो मृत्यु से पहले काम और क्रोध के वेग को सहन कर सकता है, वही संयमी और सुखी मनुष्य है।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

काम और क्रोध पर नियंत्रण जीवन में सच्चा सुख लाता है।
