मैं करता हूँ' – यही सबसे बड़ा भ्रम है।

श्लोक / Verse
अहङ्कारविमूढात्मा कर्ताहमिति मन्यते ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
प्रकृति द्वारा गुणों से प्रेरित होकर सभी कर्म होते हैं, लेकिन अहंकार से मोहित आत्मा यह सोचता है कि वह ही कर्ता है।
मतलब
सारे कर्म प्रकृति के गुणों द्वारा होते हैं, लेकिन अहंकार से भ्रमित आत्मा सोचती है – 'मैं ही करता हूँ'।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
अहंकार से मुक्ति ही सच्चा ज्ञान है।

Actions are performed by the modes of nature, but the selfish soul is deluded into thinking “I am the doer.”
Explanation
All actions arise from nature’s qualities; ego misleads the self to claim ownership as the doer.
This teaches us that
True knowledge is realizing the self is not the ultimate doer; letting go of ego brings freedom.
