निष्काम कर्म ही लोककल्याण है।

श्लोक / Verse
कुर्याद्विद्वांस्तथासक्तश्चिकीर्षुर्लोकसङ्ग्रहम् ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जो लोग कर्म में अज्ञानी और आसक्त होते हैं, वे कर्म करते हैं; विद्वान वही कर्म करते हैं, लेकिन लोककल्याण के लिए।
मतलब
जैसे अज्ञानी लोग आसक्ति से कर्म करते हैं, वैसे ही ज्ञानी व्यक्ति भी कर्म करें लेकिन बिना आसक्ति के, लोकसंग्रह (लोकहित) के लिए।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
ज्ञानी को भी समाज के कल्याण हेतु कर्म में लगा रहना चाहिए।

Meaning
Those who act out of ignorance and attachment do actions; wise men act without attachment for the welfare of the world.
Explanation
Like ignorant people act with attachment, the enlightened also perform actions with detachment, focused on public welfare.
This teaches us that
Even the wise continue acting, but without selfishness, for the common good.
