अपना काम सही तरीके से करो, ताकि सबका भला हो।
Do your duty properly for the good of all.
श्लोक / Verse
सङ्करस्य च कर्ता स्यामुपहन्यामिमाः प्रजाः ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
यदि मैं कर्म नहीं करूंगा, तो यह लोक नष्ट हो जाएंगे और मैं संतान के बीच संकर उत्पन्न करने वाला हो जाऊं।
मतलब
यदि मैं अपने कर्तव्यों से बचूं और काम न करूं, तो यह दुनिया तबाह हो जाएगी। और इससे लोग गलत रास्ते पर चले जाएंगे। ऐसे में मैं ही उनकी बुरी स्थिति का कारण बनूंगा।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
हम सबको अपने काम और जिम्मेदारियों को समझकर सही तरीके से करना चाहिए। अगर हम अपना काम छोड़ देंगे, तो इससे न सिर्फ हमारा, बल्कि दूसरों का भी नुकसान होगा।

Abandoning duty results in the destruction of the world and causes people to go astray, for which one becomes responsible.
