नेता जैसा करेगा, वैसा ही लोग करेंगे।

श्लोक / Verse

यदि ह्यहं न वर्तेय जातु कर्मण्यतन्द्रितः ।
मम वर्त्मानुवर्तन्ते मनुष्याः पार्थ सर्वशः ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

अगर मैं कभी भी कर्मों में आलस्य करता, तो मनुष्य मेरी राह का पालन न करते। वे हमेशा मेरे मार्ग का अनुसरण करते हैं।

मतलब

यदि मैं कर्म में लीन न रहूं, तो मनुष्य भी मेरी राह छोड़ देंगे। श्रेष्ठ जन के आचरण से ही समाज दिशा पाता है।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

श्रेष्ठ लोगों को सदैव उदाहरण बनकर जीना चाहिए।

Deeper Understanding

Meaning

If I were ever negligent in action, people would stop following my path; they always imitate my conduct.

Explanation

If Krishna were lazy or inactive, people would abandon his path. The conduct of great individuals determines society’s direction.

This teaches us that

Exemplary conduct by leaders guides society.
