भय से पीछे हटना अपमानजनक है।
Retreating out of fear is disgraceful.
श्लोक / Verse
येषां च त्वं बहुमतो भूत्वा यास्यसि लाघवम् ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
अर्जुन, युद्ध से रुककर रणभूमि में महाशक्तिशाली योद्धा तुझे लज्जित करेंगे और तुझे कमज़ोर मानेंगे।
मतलब
यदि अर्जुन तुम युद्ध से डरकर भागते हो, तो जिन योद्धाओं ने तुम्हे महान समझा है, वे तुम्हें कायर मानेंगे।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
कर्तव्य से पीछे हटना, सम्मान खोने जैसा है।

Arjuna, if you run from battle, mighty warriors will shame you and consider you weak.
Explanation
If you retreat from the battle out of fear, those who held you in high regard will regard you as a coward.
This teaches us that
Abandoning duty leads to loss of respect.
