श्लोक / Verse
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं मित्रद्रोहे च पातकम् ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जो लोग लोभ से घिरे होते हैं, वे नहीं देख पाते कि वे कुल के नाश और मित्रों के प्रति पाप कर रहे हैं।
मतलब
जो लोग लोभ में अंधे हो जाते हैं, वे न तो कुल का विनाश देख पाते हैं, न ही मित्र-द्रोह में पाप देख पाते हैं।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
लालच हमारी बुद्धि को बंद कर देता है — उससे बचो।
