इच्छाएँ ज़्यादा होंगी तो रास्ता भटक जाएगा।

श्लोक / Verse
तं तं नियममास्थाय प्रकृत्या नियताः स्वया ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जो लोग अपने ज्ञान को कामों से विकृत करते हैं, वे अन्य देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं और अपनी प्रकृति के अनुसार नियमों को स्वीकार करते हैं।
मतलब
कुछ लोग जब अपने मन की इच्छाओं में फँस जाते हैं, तो उनका सही सोचने का तरीका छिन जाता है। फिर वे सच्चे भगवान को नहीं, बल्कि औरों को पूजने लगते हैं, जैसे उनकी प्रकृति उन्हें चलाती है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
अगर हमारी इच्छाएँ बहुत ज़्यादा होंगी, तो हम सही और गलत में फर्क नहीं कर पाएँगे। इसलिए मन को शांत और साफ रखना ज़रूरी है।
