श्लोक / Verse
शुनि चैव श्वपाके च पण्डिताः समदर्शिनः ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जो पंडित ज्ञान और विनय से संपन्न होते हैं, वे ब्राह्मण, गाय, हाथी, कुत्ते और श्वपाकी में समान दृष्टि रखते हैं।
मतलब
जो व्यक्ति ज्ञानी होता है, वह ब्राह्मण, गाय, हाथी, कुत्ते या चांडाल — सबको समान दृष्टि से देखता है। उसके लिए सबमें वही आत्मा है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
सच्चा ज्ञान हमें भेदभाव नहीं, समता की भावना सिखाता है।

The learned, endowed with knowledge and humility, regard the Brahmin, cow, elephant, dog, and outcaste alike.
Explanation
A wise person sees no difference among Brahmin, cow, elephant, dog, or outcast; they see the same soul in all beings.
This teaches us that
True knowledge teaches equality and removes discrimination.
