श्लोक / Verse

परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् ।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

साधुओं की रक्षा, दुष्टों के विनाश और धर्म की स्थापना के लिए मैं हर युग में प्रकट होता हूँ।

मतलब

सज्जनों की रक्षा, दुष्टों के विनाश और धर्म की स्थापना के लिए मैं हर युग में अवतरित होता हूँ।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

धर्म की रक्षा के लिए हर युग में ईश्वर का अवतार होता है।
