ईर्ष्या और घमंड ज्ञान को नष्ट करते हैं।

श्लोक / Verse

ये त्वेतदभ्यसूयन्तो नानुतिष्ठन्ति मे मतम् ।
सर्वज्ञानविमूढांस्तान्विद्धि नष्टानचेतसः ॥

भावार्थ

अर्थात

जो लोग मेरी उपासना का अपमान करते हैं और मेरे मार्ग का पालन नहीं करते, वे ज्ञान से विमूढ़ होते हुए नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

मतलब

जो मेरे उपदेशों की निंदा करते हैं और पालन नहीं करते, वे मूढ़ और विनष्ट बुद्धिवाले हैं।

इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि

ज्ञान के विरोधी अंततः विनाश को प्राप्त होते हैं।

Those who criticize my teachings and do not follow my path are deluded and lost from true knowledge.

Explanation

Those who disrespect and do not follow Krishna's teachings are ignorant and ultimately face ruin.

This teaches us that

Opposition to true knowledge leads only to destruction in the end.
