नतीजे नहीं, नीयत ज़रूरी है।

श्लोक / Verse
बुद्धौ शरणमन्विच्छ कृपणाः फलहेतवः ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
हे धनञ्जय! बुद्धियोग से हीन कर्म अत्यंत निम्न है। तुम बुद्धि में ही शरण लो, क्योंकि फल की इच्छा करने वाले कृपण होते हैं।
मतलब
हे अर्जुन! जो काम केवल फल पाने की चाह में किया जाए, वो बहुत नीचे स्तर का होता है। समझदारी से किया गया काम सबसे अच्छा होता है। जो लोग सिर्फ फल के लिए काम करते हैं, वो दुखी ही रहते हैं।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
काम ऐसा करो जिसमें समझ और भक्ति हो, सिर्फ नतीजों के पीछे मत भागो।

Explanation
O Dhananjaya! Any action done solely for results is low; take refuge in wisdom since desire for results indicates weakness.

Perform work with understanding and devotion; do not chase just outcomes.
