सच्ची जीत वो, जो बिना किसी को चोट पहुँचाए मिले।

श्लोक / Verse
हत्वार्थकामांस्तु गुरूनिहैव भुञ्जीय भोगान्रुधिरप्रदिग्धान् ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
गुरु को न मारकर, भिक्षाटन करना अधिक श्रेष्ठ है। लेकिन यदि गुरुओं को मारा जाए तो उनके भोग रक्त से मलीन हो जाते हैं।
मतलब
अर्जुन कह रहे हैं कि यदि हम अपने गुरुओं और सम्मानित लोगों को मारकर जीत प्राप्त करते हैं, तो क्या हम उनका खून खाकर धन प्राप्त करें? यह सही नहीं है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
कभी भी किसी को हानि पहुँचाकर लाभ नहीं उठाना चाहिए। जीवन में सही रास्ता अपनाना सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है।

It is better to beg than to slay revered teachers. If teachers are killed, their enjoyments are stained with blood.
Explanation
Arjuna says that if we kill our teachers and venerable persons to gain victory, it would be like enjoying wealth stained with their blood.
This teaches us that
One should never attain gain by harming others; following the right path is the most important in life.
