स्वधर्म सर्वोपरि है।

श्लोक / Verse
धर्म्याद्धि युद्धाच्छ्रेयोऽन्यत्क्षत्त्रियस्य न विद्यते ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
अपने धर्म को ध्यान में रखते हुए, युद्ध में भाग लेना कर्तव्य है, अन्यथा शत्रु को नष्ट करना श्रेष्ठ है।
मतलब
अर्जुन! अपने स्वधर्म को देखकर तुझे कर्तव्य से नहीं हटना चाहिए। एक क्षत्रिय के लिए धर्मपूर्वक युद्ध से बढ़कर कुछ नहीं है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
अपना धर्म निभाना ही सच्ची वीरता है।
