आत्मा निरंतर है, कभी नष्ट नहीं होती।
The soul is continuous and never destroyed.
श्लोक / Verse
नित्यः सर्वगतः स्थाणुरचलोऽयं सनातनः ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
आत्मा न काटी जा सकती है, न जलाई जा सकती है, न भिगोई जा सकती है, न सुखाई जा सकती है। यह नित्य, सर्वव्यापी, अचल, और सनातन है।
मतलब
आत्मा को कोई काट नहीं सकता, जला नहीं सकता, गीला नहीं कर सकता और सुखा भी नहीं सकता। वो हमेशा रहती है, हर जगह होती है, अडिग और पुरानी लेकिन अमर है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
हमारी असली पहचान शरीर नहीं, आत्मा है। इसलिए डरने की ज़रूरत नहीं, आत्मा कभी नष्ट नहीं होती।

Meaning
The soul cannot be cut, burned, wetted, or dried. It is eternal, all-pervading, immovable, and ancient.
Explanation
The soul can neither be cut nor burnt, neither soaked nor dried. It always exists, is everywhere, unmoving, eternal, and immortal.
This teaches us that
Our true identity is the soul, not the body. Therefore, fear not—the soul never perishes.
