शरीर खत्म होता है, आत्मा कभी नहीं।
The body perishes, but the soul never dies.
श्लोक / Verse
विनाशमव्ययस्यास्य न कश्चित्कर्तुमर्हति ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जिसे तुम जानते हो, वह अविनाशी तत्व है, जो सभी सृष्टि में व्याप्त है, इसका विनाश नहीं हो सकता।
मतलब
जिस आत्मा से ये सारी दुनिया भरी हुई है, वह कभी खत्म नहीं होती। कोई भी आत्मा को नष्ट नहीं कर सकता।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
डर के बजाय हमें अपने अच्छे कामों पर ध्यान देना चाहिए, क्योंकि आत्मा अमर है।

Know that the indestructible and imperishable essence pervades everything and cannot be destroyed by any one.
Explanation
The soul that pervades this universe is indestructible and eternal; no one can destroy it.
This teaches us that
Instead of fear, focus on righteous action, knowing the soul is immortal.
