लालच से किया कोई भी काम सही नहीं होता।

श्लोक / Verse
यद्राज्यसुखलोभेन हन्तुं स्वजनमुद्यताः ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
हे! हम कितने बड़े पाप में लिप्त हो गए हैं, राज्य के सुख के लालच में हम अपने ही परिवार के लोगों को मारने के लिए तैयार हो गए हैं।
मतलब
हे भगवान! हम बहुत बड़ा पाप करने के लिए तैयार हो गए हैं, क्योंकि हमें राज्य और सुख का लालच है। इसी लालच में हम अपने ही स्वजनों को मारने के लिए तैयार हो गए हैं।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
लालच इंसान को गलत रास्ते पर ले जाता है। हमें हमेशा सही रास्ता अपनाना चाहिए, चाहे परिस्थिति कैसी भी हो।
