यज्ञ के बिना जीवन अधूरा है।

श्लोक / Verse
नायं लोकोऽस्त्ययज्ञस्य कुतोऽन्यः कुरुसत्तम ॥
भावार्थ
अर्थात
जो लोग यज्ञ का शेष भोजन करके अमृत का सेवन करते हैं, वे सनातन ब्रह्म को प्राप्त करते हैं। यज्ञ के बिना इस लोक में कोई उच्च मार्ग नहीं है, श्रेष्ठ कुरु।
मतलब
जो यज्ञ के बचे हुए अमृत को खाते हैं, वे सनातन ब्रह्म को प्राप्त करते हैं। जो यज्ञ नहीं करता, उसे यह लोक भी नहीं मिलता, फिर परलोक की तो बात ही दूर है।
इससे हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि
निःस्वार्थ यज्ञ और सेवा से जीवन सार्थक बनता है।

Explanation
Only those who benefit from the offerings of sacrifice attain eternal bliss; life without selfless action is empty.
